Computer Centre
The computer centre provides open access for all residents and of all age groups living in Brookvale, Murdishaw and Palacefields to high quality computer facilities. The centre provides users with guidance on a wide range of available computer courses resulting in recognised qualifications achieved through short evening classes and the opportunity of completing Open University open learning.
The development of the Brookvale Community Centre is overseen and directed by the Brookvale Community Group Association.

There are facilities for training, job searchs/applications a school/college homework club; all of which are highly responsive to equip local people of all ages and dispositions with new skills, boost self confidence and move forward to exciting new opportunities.
Brookvale Computer Centre is open for drop-in users FREE of charge following completion of membership application. Members are welcome to access the facilities anytime apart from during the scheduled classes.
We currently have a qualified I.T. instructor on site, 10 hours a week to help maintain and run the compter suite and computer club. He is usually available on Tuesdays and Thursdays for members who need help and assistance.
